This spring I spent a lovely afternoon communing with the landscaping at North Hills Mall in Raleigh, NC. I hope the viewer can experience a sense of the energy of these beautiful tulips, under-planted with pansies - rather than dismissing them as 'flowers at the entrance to the mall'.
